First Vegetable Delivery Tuesday May 27th
After a long winter break, it’s time for our first spring delivery. As usual, the season will be starting out with lots of greens. We can expect swiss chard, kale, asian greens, arugula, baby tatsoi, herbs, pea shoots, and spinach.
Soon to come: beets, turnips, radishes, broccoli, pac choy, kohlrabi, chinese cabbage, and lettuce.

You have reminded me that I want to ask David to please give us the beet greens along with the beets this year. We’ll be getting plenty of other greens, but beet greens are really good!
When I read the list, I drooled.

I think someone else requested this too at the Saturday orientation meeting with David and Julia. They said the greens were not in great condition last season, which is why they cut them off, but they definitely seemed open to leaving the greens on this time if we want them. Julia also mentioned that the greens should be removed and stored separately when you get them home.
