The prices for 2009 are $575 for a full share and $325 for half. We also offer a limited number of discounted shares for low income households - contact us for more details and an application form.

Shares include a variety of 8 – 12 different seasonal vegetables each week. Half shares usually get roughly the same varieties, in smaller amounts. As a basic rule of thumb, a full share is sized for an average non-vegetarian family of four (2 adults and two children). You can download the estimated harvest schedule to see what types of vegetables are included, but please be aware that there may be variations in the schedule due to weather conditions and other factors.

The vegetables will be delivered to Maple Street School at 21 Lincoln Road, right next to the Prospect Park stop on the Q train (map). Pickup is on Tuesday afternoon between 4:15 and 7:15 pm.

We are an all-volunteer organization and all shareholders are required to contribute 4 hours of volunteer time to the CSA. Usually this means working 2 distribution shifts, but if you are unable to do that there are other options (clerical work, website, newsletter, events, etc). We also have a Leadership Board made up of a small group of members who volunteer extra time to run the CSA. To find out more about volunteering with PLG CSA, please email us.
