PLG CSA offers a 28-week season from June 9 to January 26.

Shares will be delivered weekly, on Saturdays from June 9 to November 17 and also on December 1, December 15, January 12 and January 26.
(Note: The deliveries in December and January are roughly twice as much as the weekly shares.)

Fruit and egg shares will also be delivered for the entire distribution period.

The CSA must be paid for in advance with payment plan available. There are a limited number of subsidies available and are based on income and household. See the registration form for more information.

($16.56/week for 28 distributions)

Starting June 16
($7.25/week for 27 distributions)

EGGS: $149 dozen/$75 half
($4.65 dozen for 28 distributions)

A single share will easily feed 2-4 people weekly. If your household is larger you are welcome to order 2 or more shares of any type or mix and match to suit your needs (e.g. 1 vegetable share, 2 fruit shares, no eggs, etc.). In order to participate in the CSA, however, you must purchase at least one vegetable share.

Share Obligations

PLG CSA is all volunteer and member run. The CSA cannot function without its members! Every household (regardless of share size or number of people in the household) is required to work two (2) distribution shifts (approximately 4 hours total). There are two shifts per distribution that set up, unload the truck, weigh and distribute vegetables during pick ups, break down and clean up. It’s a fun, community-building time and children are welcome. When you sign up, you’ll get detailed information on this requirement and instructions on signing up for shifts. If you do not work your shifts you will not be able to re-join the CSA for a year.

Other CSA Products

PLG CSA manages a monthly meat share from Herondale Farm which includes a mix of beef, lamb, pork and chicken. There is a 9 month chicken-only share available as well. Click here for more information.
